You’ve probably already noticed that we recently released LocumsMart version 3.0. It just so happens that the 3.0 release lined up with the exact anniversary of our 2.0 release, which itself took upwards of two years to develop! The LocumsMart Agile Development Team deserves high praise for not only continuing to push the envelope in terms of creating new tools our customers can use to save time and money, but actually speeding up the pace at which those new tools are developed and released! They are a dedicated and talented group, and the whole LocumsMart user community benefits greatly from their efforts.
3.0 is a significant milestone for the Agile Team, and we are all very excited to finally put “our baby” out into the world and begin getting real-world feedback from our customers. So far the customer response has been overwhelmingly positive. A key component of LocumsMart’s agile development methodology is rapidly incorporating feedback from our customers, so as to continuously improve the user experience. We are looking forward to hearing from as many of our customers as possible about LM 3.0.
To make sure that we are getting a broad range of perspectives, Keitha Ray and I have been on a bit of a road show lately. We’ve been trying to see as many of our HCO and Vendor Members as possible and gather their perspectives on how LocumsMart can help them save additional time and money. We’re always looking for ways to help our customers operate more efficiently. In fact, several of the action items Keitha and I heard about during recent customer visits have already been addressed and released. Examples of features developed directly because of customer feedback include:
- Users can now view the number of Vendors that received an Assignment Request
- Users can differentiate between the number of days since an AR was submitted to the logged-in Vendor, versus the total days since the AR was first submitted to any Vendor
- Contacts on workflow records (i.e. ARs, Bids, and CAs) can now be edited
Finally, a big part of LocumsMart Version 3.0 is still in stealth mode: LocumsMart CRM. We actually released CRM functionality for our internal use, but the features are currently turned off for our members. Obviously CRM functionality is intertwined with LocumsMart workflow tracking, but since it is a whole new area of functionality, we want to get some real-world use feedback from our own internal use before we roll it out for our members. LocumsMart will be the first CRM system designed specifically for the locum tenens recruitment process, and we’re very excited to roll this out commercially in the coming months.
