In our effort to continuously improve the LocumsMart system to better meet our members’ needs, we are always working on easier, faster ways for our members to update and make changes to assignments.
One of our newest features offers a new way for hospital users to indicate that a pending assignment is still in the credentialing phase and will still start, but just not on the original projected start date.
Previously, the only way to move an assignment through the workflow was to do it manually. Now, LocumsMart is checking for old pending assignments where the start date has past, and sending out automatic emails to ask if the pending assignment is in fact starting.
Let’s look at an example email notifier:
This says the assignment is past the start date.
You can see the same assignment in the workflow.
From the email notifier itself you have three link options for updating the assignment:
1. Move to Active – This will indicate that today is the start date and the provider is ready to work, and automatically move the assignment from pending to active.
2. Cancel – Use this link if you no longer have the need. The assignment will move from pending to canceled within LocumsMart.
3. New Estimated Start Date – This will indicate that credentialing is still going and there will be a new start date.
For the third option, just click new estimated start date and you’ll be taken to a landing page where you can indicate what the new start date is. Just click the calendar icon and select the appropriate date, and of course click save. You’ll now see that the assignment has the new start date you just entered.
Our goal at LocumsMart is to make the entire locums procurement process as easy and streamlined as possible. Hopefully the ability to change the start date on a pending assignment from these new email notifiers will make the process even easier for you!
