3 ways to make your bid stand out in LocumsMart
We’re excited to announce that LocumsMart now offers hospital users the ability to update the recruitment status of an open locum tenens assignment straight from an email notifier. Today’s tutorial will cover exactly how that process works. (It’s simple, we promise!)
Quite frequently, we see open assignments in the system that have reached their start date but still have not moved forward from the open status. This can happen for a variety of reasons, though these are the three most common ones:
- You forgot to update and move the assignment forward
- You are still actively recruiting for the assignment
- You have decided that you are no longer recruiting for the assignment
As a way to help you better manage your assignments, the LocumsMart system is now actively checking for open assignment requests that have reached their start date but have not been updated to the next step in the process. You’ll automatically receive an email notifier right to your inbox for each assignment request that has reached its start date. These notifiers will give you the ability to update your open assignments in a matter of moments, right from the email.
Here’s how it works:
As you can see in the example email in the video, the email notifier includes the details of the assignment in question and tells you that it is past the start date. You are presented with two options:
Click to refresh the need and give it a start date of ASAP – This would indicate to vendors that the assignment request is still open, you haven’t accepted a provider, and that you need someone ASAP even the start date has passed.
Click to cancel the assignment – This will indicate to vendors that you don’t need a provider anymore, for whatever reason, and let the LocumsMart system know that you want to cancel the assignment.
If you are still recruiting, clicking refresh from the email will take you to a landing page that lets you know that the assignment has now been updated with a start date of ASAP. If you log in to your account and go to my open assignments, you can see that assignment will now have a start date of ASAP and vendors will know that they should still be recruiting locum tenens for this job.
