Changes coming to LocumsMart in 2021
Director of Client Services Bob Shumard and VP of Business Development Keitha Ray recently returned from Columbus, Ohio, after attending the Ohio Network of Physician Recruiters annual conference.
They got to talk to most of the ONPR members and had a good time with a great group of people. Attendees of the conference each got a bingo card to be stamped with smiley faces at each booth. Anyone who got their whole card stamped was entered into drawings for a number of prizes.

The conference theme was “Solving the Mystery of Physician Recruitment” and was a murder mystery event, with actors embedded in the conference before anyone knew they were actors.
“We thought some of them were really recruiters,” Keitha says. “It was an icebreaker that really allowed us to get to know people outside of work a little bit.”
The actors went around and talked to the attendees during dinner, dropping clues in their conversation along with newspaper articles, bank statements, emails, etc. The attendees then pieced the information together to figure out who the “killer” was, like a big game of Clue. Bob was one of the first people to figure it out, placing third in the contest.
It’s always great to get a chance to speak with the In-House Recruiters. We’re already looking forward to attending next year’s conference.
