Changes coming to LocumsMart in 2021
Keitha Ray is the newest addition to the LocumsMart team, and we are excited to have her on board as our Vice President of Business Development.
Keitha joins us with a decade of experience in the healthcare staffing industry. Most recently, she spent four years managing business development and national sales at Echo Locum Tenens, a division of Sound Physicians. Prior to her time with Echo, Keitha spent six years as a senior sales manager at Staffcare, a subsidiary of AMN Healthcare, and one of the largest locum tenens agencies in the country. Keitha has been a temporary staffing consultant for hospitals, private practices and all types of healthcare facilities.
Her experience in the locum tenens recruitment and contract management worlds gives Keitha a unique perspective on the issues faced by LocumsMart’s HCO and Vendor Users. Keitha understands that healthcare staffing has changed drastically, and the challenges faced by Vendors as they try to fill needs at their HCO Facility clients are very different today than they were a decade ago. She feels strongly that both HCOs and Vendors can improve their businesses by using technology more effectively. Keitha’s depth of insight will help us refine LocumsMart to deliver an even more useful product to Vendors and Healthcare Organizations alike.
Before getting into physician recruitment, Keitha’s first job out of college was selling copiers. You know what they say: “if you can make it six months selling copiers, you can make it anywhere.” Keitha lasted three years! Having known her for over five years myself, I am personally familiar with her tenacity and commitment to finding solutions for her customers. She brings a lot to the table, and I am excited to add her to our team of solutions providers at LocumsMart.
Outside of work, Keitha spends most of her time with her husband and three children. They are an outdoorsy family, opting for a weekend camping and fishing at the lake whenever baseball schedules and weather permit.
